  • Introduce children to the fundamental movements and rhythms of Polynesian dance, focusing on styles from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, and other Pacific islands.

  • Foster a love for dance, music, and the cultural heritage of Polynesia.

  • Develop coordination, balance, and physical fitness through fun and engaging dance activities.

  • Build confidence and stage presence in young dancers.

  • Develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of Polynesian dance forms, including advanced movements and techniques from Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, and other Pacific island traditions.

  • Build physical strength, flexibility, and stamina through intensive dance practice.

  • Enhance performance skills, including stage presence, facial expressions, and storytelling through dance.

  • Encourage cultural awareness and understanding of Polynesian heritage, language, and values.

· Provide a joyful and enriching environment to learn hula ʻauana, focusing on the physical and emotional well-being of each student.

· Teach foundational and advanced hula ʻauana movements adapted to be gentle on the body, promoting flexibility, balance, and coordination.

· Encourage creative expression and storytelling through hula ʻauana, deepening understanding of its meaning and emotion.

· Foster a sense of community, connection, and mutual support among participants.
